Biodiesel dry wash resin equal to Amberlite BD10Dry
SEPLITE ® BD130 is the biodiesel dry wash resin.This resin product has high exchange capability to remove the impurities from biodiesel, such as Water, Glycerin, Catalyst Residue, Methanol and Soaps as well so as to meet criteria as ASTM and EN. It has long operation time and is excellent on Bead Integrity that allows better Fluid Dynamics function. This premium product has significant competitiveness in both performance and price and has been used in US, UK and Germany.

Physical and Chemical Characteristics
Applications
Seplite® BD130 can be used either before or after the phase separation stage of the processing. It will remove traces of alkaline catalysts, methanol, water and glycerin.
Although Seplite® BD130 can be used in a batch process, it is best to place Seplite® BD130 into an exchange column for ease of use.
As an efficient filter media, it can be used to help remove traces of suspended solids. However, bulk solids removal (if necessary) should be performed before resins.
Seplite® BD130 has a fixed ion exchange capacity and a fixed capacity for moisture. The more impurities before it enters the resin vessel, the less treated amount could be expected.
To achieve highest treating capacity, we should minimize moisture and excess basicity in the raw biodiesel before it contacts the resin bed.
Higher concentrations of water, methanol and glycerin will decrease throughput capacity and increase operating costs.
Seplite® BD130 can also be used to remove water and cationic impurities from other organic systems
